The Stink Bug’s Dilemma

stink bug (1)

Sometimes the smallest thing catches my eye and I’m compelled to give it a good look.

Such was the case with this little stink bug.  I almost walked past it, then stopped, bent down, and watched it for a little while.

It seemed to have gotten itself in a spot and didn’t know what to do next.

This is what my summer has been like too.

When the expected course of everyday life is interrupted,

we realize that we are like shipwrecked people

trying to keep their balance on a miserable plank in the open sea,

having forgotten where they came from

and not knowing whither they are drifting.   –Albert Einstein

Looks like a cat up a tree. Did you save it?

  2. Sometimes I feel like that bug, too.
